Snorkelling

The Solomon Islands are world-renown for their abundant marine life, pelagic fish, spectacular coral reefs and superb visibility. Guests can don masks and fins and enter the water directly from the dive platform at the stern of Princess II, or drift over the reefs accompanied by one of the dive tenders. In this tropical climate, waterproof sun block is essential if you are not wearing a full-length protective suit.

A 5 megapixel digital Olympus camera and underwater housing is available for rent. Guests can use this camera to capture hundreds of images of the underwater world in the Solomon Islands.

A camera table, rinse tank and several shelves are located in a protected area on the dive deck. Crewmembers are on hand to assist you with your camera on entry and exit.

After you have finished snorkeling, you can enjoy a hot shower on the dive deck, with fresh towels always available.
